I have known Pam Blackwell for 12 years since she came to work with me as Secretary/PA within Brookhouse Managed Properties Ltd, the property holding company within Brookhouse Holdings Ltd group, which was an industry leader in precision tool making and composite manufacturing, primarily for the aviation industry. The property holding company eventually had a portfolio valued in the low eight figures and our prime involvement and challenge was the refurbishment and letting of a Business Centre in Lancashire. This was a multi-million pound project which, when commenced in the late nineties, was a derelict mill of around 200,000 sq ft, with no tenants. Today it is the base of major employers in the town, having been completely refurbished and almost fully let.
Pam played a major role in this project and as the business and tenancies grew, we employed a dedicated secretary/receptionist and Pam effectively became joint Manager with me.
When I retired at the end of 2005, Pam took full control and has run the business efficiently since and to date.
As a consequence of this experience and exposure, Pam has a wealth of knowledge relative to the running/management of a limited company, relative to the administration of company accounts, relative to the legalities and administration of leasing properties and negotiation with people at the highest level.
During the seven years which I worked with Pam, she was totally reliable and is of undoubted integrity and I would have no hesitation in recommending her for a responsible corporate position, whether it be as a direct employee or as a provider of services through “all things Sorted”. I have no hesitation in saying that, if engaged, Pam would be an asset to any Company.
